Here is one of a series of questions asked by a reader, and answered by me, in response to the article: Praying in the Name of Jesus:
"...Truly, why do we pray if His will must be done no matter how hard we pray? Are you saying God does not change His mind? I think He does. Examples in the bible abound. What do you think? I am cool with the fact that when we face challenges, we must give thanks and accept His will for us. But why do we pray and ask for our heart desires? "
